Two highly desirable elements in any video game are fast cars, and powerful weapons, so when you put the 2 together it spells mass motorised mayhem with a capital V. Vigilante 8, 2nd offence sees the return of car combat style gaming.

This 2nd release in the series, sends players back to the 70's to rip up the roads and everything else that gets in the way. Along with a new look and feel, the game offers nearly 20 new vehicles, both futuristic and classic 70's models to drive, all packing a boot load of fancy new firepower. This drive to survive, style gaming really comes into its own with 4 players all battling it out at the one time.

Multiplayer mode offers, team battles, cooperative, and quest modes. While the game is out on all major consoles, the Dreamcast version is a lap ahead of its console counterparts in speed and high quality graphics, with the N64 version coming a distant 2nd, followed by the Playstation effort.
